01

Request assistance through the airline

Schiphol tells travelers who need assistance to arrange it with their airline in time. For visual or auditory assistance, the airport asks travelers to specify their needs when booking and notes a 48-hour advance request window.

02

Wheelchairs at the airport

Schiphol says loan wheelchairs are available free at multiple locations, including departure halls, the train-station area, the bus station and Arrival Hall 3.

03

Schiphol is a silent airport

The airport notes that there are very few public announcements and that flight information is shown on terminal screens. Travelers who cannot rely on visual screens should arrange assistance and keep airline notifications enabled.

04

Transfers and accessibility

A single-terminal concept does not mean every connection is short. Travelers with reduced mobility should use the airport assistance service and leave additional time for long walking distances and passport-control routing.
