Request assistance through the airline
Dubai Airports says to provide your airline, tour operator or travel agent with the relevant assistance details as early as possible or at least 48 hours before travel. That allows the information to be passed to the airport assistance team.
Wheelchair assistance at DXB
Dubai Airports states that dnata provides wheelchair assistance. For departing passengers, support is available from the kerb at Terminal 3 or from check-in counters at Terminals 1 and 2 through to the gate.
Dedicated lanes and passport control
DXB lists dedicated support at passport-control checkpoints and trained staff for travelers with physical or hearing impairments. The airport also describes dedicated services at arrivals and departures across its terminals.
Hidden disabilities
Dubai Airports has a dedicated hidden-disabilities program and provides Sunflower-lanyard information through its assistance pages and FAQs. Travelers who benefit from extra time or clearer guidance should review the current airport instructions before travel.
Official sources
AirportBoard separates editorial planning from live operational decisions. Re-check airport and airline information on travel day.
