Arrange airline assistance before travel
Changi recommends contacting the airline for required special-assistance services before the journey. Airline coordination remains important for wheelchair movement, boarding and medical arrangements.
Special Assistance Lanes
Changi says Special Assistance Lanes are available at immigration for passengers using mobility aids, travelers with young children and people assisting a companion. The wider lanes are designed for easier movement.
Care Ambassadors
The airport says trained Care Ambassadors can assist travelers with disabilities and can be identified by their gold Care badge. Information counters can also help if an ambassador is not nearby.
Plan the connection path
Changi is large and attractions can make a layover feel deceptively easy. Travelers who need extra time should prioritize the route between arrival, assistance points, immigration if required and the departure gate before adding optional activities.
